Teachers' Day Celebration

On September 4, GCS celebrated Teachers' Day with an engaging event where students from class 2&3  took the class on the role of teachers, conducting classes and gaining a unique, enjoyable learning experience. The celebration also featured cultural programs performed by students, showcasing their talents, and included the distribution of gifts to teachers as a token of appreciation. The event was a memorable occasion that fostered student participation, cultural expression, and gratitude towards educators.

Activity: Exploring the Five Sense Organs

The aim of this activity was to help the students of Class 1 and 2 understand the importance of the five sense organs by experiencing and identifying different objects through seeing, smelling, tasting, touching, and listening.

Description of the Activity:
The activity was conducted in a fun and interactive manner.

Sense of Sight (Eyes): Students were shown colorful flashcards, fruits, and pictures to identify.

Sense of Smell (Nose): Items like flowers, perfume,were given for smelling and recognizing.

Sense of Taste (Tongue): Children tasted small samples of sweet, salty, sour, and bitter foods (sugar, salt, lemon, neem leaves, etc.).

Sense of Touch (Skin): Objects with different textures such as soft toy,cottontail balls, sand, were given to feel and describe.

Sense of Hearing (Ears): Students listened to sounds like a bell, clapping, animal sounds, and bird calls to identify.

79th Independence Day Celebration

Gurajada Children School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The program began with the flag hoisting ceremony conducted by the chief guest, who inspired students with his meaningful address. He highlighted the importance of freedom and the role of young minds in shaping the nation’s future. After the speech, students presented vibrant dances showcasing India’s rich culture and diversity. Patriotic songs filled the air, spreading the spirit of unity and pride. Teachers and parents also witnessed the celebrations with joy. The program concluded with the National Anthem, reminding everyone of their duty towards the country. It was a memorable occasion that strengthened the spirit of patriotism among all.

General PTM

A General Parent Teacher Meeting was conducted for the academic year 2025-26, on 7th August at 3.00 pm in school premises. Total number of parents attended were 30. All the parents took great initiative to take part in this meeting. 10 members from the parents were selected for Parent Teacher Association.
