Gurajada Children School (GCS) is an elementary school running LKG and UKG classes along with day-care facility. GCS is located in beautiful colony (Anu Vihar) of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Visakhapatnam – 531011.

The school is run by DAE Employees Recreational Club (DAEERC) a registered society for the welfare of Staff of BARC, Visakhapatnam.

The school administration is guided by the School Management Committee of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, Visakhapatnam.

Department of Atomic Energy Employees’ Recreational Club (DAEERC), Visakhapatnam is an NGO, a welfare society of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India staff stationed in Visakhapatnam. The Society is registered under Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 vide certificate No. 190 of 2017. It is also recognised by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India vide letter No. 24/1 (Welf)/2015-Admn.III/3148 dated 13.03.2017.

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India’s premier nuclear research facility, headquartered in Trombay, Mumbai. BARC is a multi-disciplinary research centre for advanced research and development covering the entire spectrum of nuclear science, chemical engineering, material sciences and metallurgy, electronic instrumentation, biology and medicine, supercomputing and associated research for Indian Nuclear programme and related areas.
